Explore the nature of Florida's barrier islands
up close and personal, from the cockpit of a
kayak. Paddle the waters of St. Joseph Sound
between Dunedin & Caladesi Island. Guide your
kayak over shallow waters and through Mangrove
tree tunnels. Stop for a snack and some
exploration on a little island. No experience
necessary, just bring your enthusiasm and let
a knowledgeable guide give you the instructions
you need to have an exciting trip.

Sunset Paddle
Join us Saturday for a gentle paddle and an
incredible sunset over Caladesi Island. This
popular trip is a light paddle across St.
Joseph's Sound to a small island where we
will take out to relax, enjoy a snack and
explore the island before heading back to
shore as the sun sets.

Glen Pla "The Average Angler"

Glen Pla Bio:

Glen Pla, a third generation-Florida native, has always been an avid outdoorsman and an aquatic junkie. A light hearted, fun personality and enthusiast for fishing and the outdoors. A Florida State University alumnus, Glen honed his comedic skills in the theater department and in the early '90s made the move from his home in Tallahassee to Tampa to pursue his long-time desire to combine drama, comedy and adventure into one entertaining and informative show.

A winner of 17 film-making awards, including four nationals while teaching at Ruth Eckerd Hall, Glen has brought that experience to the Average Angler Adventures, a show that combines comedy and fishing in the vein of Wild Kingdom and Gilligan's Island.
He’s won of multiple Fishing Tournaments, including some while using his kayak.
"Life has been enriching and rewarding to me thus far but none so much as the arrival of son Raja," said Glen. "He is one of the big reasons why I'm committed to good, clean, creative family programming."
