Paddling demo days
Paddle the whole fleet on the water — the best way to find the kayak that fits you. RSVP is free, and your demo fee applies toward a purchase.
How a demo day works
We bring the boats to the waterOnce a month we load the trailer with kayaks and paddleboards and haul them down to the lake. Sit-inside, sit-on-top, tandem, pedal — whatever we have on the floor, you can paddle.
It costs nothingNo fee, no deposit, no payment of any kind. Come out, have a good time, and feel the difference between the models for yourself.
About ten minutes per boatThese are test rides, so please keep each kayak or board to around ten minutes — that way everyone gets a turn on the model they came to try.
Paddles and PFDs providedEverything you need is on the trailer. Wear clothes you don't mind getting wet, and bring water and sun protection.

Demo day questions
No. Our monthly demo days are completely free — there is no fee, no deposit, and nothing to pay at any point. You are welcome to just show up and paddle. (The separate Private Paddling Demo, where a guide takes you out one-on-one on your own schedule, does carry a fee that applies toward your purchase.)
